Um, hubby is against me!!!

So, in all fairness, I haven't made my healthy intentions clear to my husband yet, but do you know what he is bringing me? Tacos. From Taco Bell. I think I can justify it like this: It's lettuce, tomatoes, ground beef, and cheese. That's dairy, vegetables, and meat. It also is wrapped in a flour tortilla, so there you have the grain. MWAHAHA!!!!!

I had rice this morning (grain) and just drank some tea (hmm... if it's peach tea does that qualify as a fruit?). Now I just need to come up with something uber healthy for dinner. Maybe I'll just have a huge helping of carrots... I seem to be craving those lately... so juicy and yummy. Actually, I made homemade pork and beans last week and it's in the freezer - maybe I'll have some of that. And milk. Susan is staying away from dairy, but it doesn't affect me the same as it does her, so maybe I'll be okay with it. If I hit a weight loss wall, maybe I'll give up dairy (*sniffle*), but for now, milk, yogurt, and cheese, oh my!! :D

Updated to add: It's all about portion control! The soft taco I ate was quite small, yet filling. Instead of eating 2, as is my norm, I stopped at one, gave it time to settle, and guess what? Fifteen minutes later, I realized I wasn't hungry. So, give it up for eating small portions slowly! And water. Let's definitely give it up for water. Did you know that often, when you think you're hungry, drinking water cures the feeling? Turns out you're dehydrated, and the symptoms of hunger and dehydration are similar. So the next time you feel hungry, even though you've just recently eaten, grab a glass of water!
